Marriage Equality site redirected to US whacko's

I guess this is a public service announcement. The Website for Marriage Equality Adelaide has had it's URL bought (like the cat ladies did) and the URL equalloveadelaide.com now takes you to a rather dangerous place, that is if you're young and struggling with your sexuality. It's one of those e-gay things where supposedly you get healed from being gay.

There's no need to say just how dangerous these e-gay therapies can be, other than to quote Anthony Venn-Brown on this (who spent years in the Assemblies of God church).
“Joanne Highley and her LIFE Ministries are dangerous extremists who believe that homosexuality is a demon that can be cast out,” Venn-Brown says.

“Considering that two thirds of ex-gay ministries have disappeared in Australia in the last decade it is a wonder this group has even tried to set up here.

“I believe the next phase in our battle to rid Australia of dangerous ‘overcome homosexuality’ ministries is to focus on the ones that hide behind an internet presence.”

With no qualifications and often operating anonymously their false information is being accessed by vulnerable closeted young people in churches looking for answers, believes Venn-Brown.
“I know of several people who accessed these programs which lead to depression and suicide attempts. What is more frightening is that we will never know about the ones who succeeded in taking their own lives.” more
And if that doesn't scare you off, have a look at the nut bag running the show:
