National Broadband Network arrives in Sydney

The National Broadband Network (NBN) has arrived in Sydney, although it'll be at least a year before we get it in my area. I was saying just the other day when we had that internet outage for half the day, that the NBN would have to be better than this.
The first National Broadband Network (NBN) fibre services in Sydney will be switched on in Blacktown on Sunday.
Broadband minister Stephen Conroy will be in the city's west to flick the switch and give an update on the NBN's three-year rollout plan. more
You can find out when the NBN is coming to your place here. Each state has an alphabetical listing of all suburbs. Fuck the phone lines man, it's cable all the way soon. Hooray!
