Malcom Fraser was Liberal PM way back decades ago, in fact during the cold war. He's left the Lieberals now in disgust. I wasn't here when he was PM but he certainly looks like a very moderate sort of leader to me. Australian politics lurched to the right when the Hawke Labor gov stole the middle ground from the Liberals and forced the Liberals to the right. Was it coincidence that this happened around the time the Reagan nightmare began?
Fraser tells it like it is. No punches pulled. A fascinating interview, and as was said at the end, an interview that wouldn't have been possible in the old days of the cold war. And the interviewer actually asks questions about the issues and doesn't say anything about a missing plane.
