So much for "love thy neighbour" then. It's interesting though in the context of Australian politics, and how for the last 10 or so years both major parties have demonised boat people, the inference being that they're Muslim terrorists.
BTW over 95% of boat people end up being deemed legitimate refugees and are (or should I say have been) settled in Australia. Sometimes after we've done years of mental damage to them in our immigration jails.
