Call to prosecute Guardian reporter

Politicians in the US are reacting now to the reporting of the latest leaked documents by Edward Snowden reported in The Guardian. In keeping with the US position on Assange, one senator, Peter King, has made clear that he wants the journalist responsible for said reporting to be prosecuted. 

"I think on something of this magnitude, there is an obligation both moral but also legal, I believe, against a reporter disclosing something that would so severely compromise national security." more

The Guardian reporter involved that this is directed to, Glenn Greenwald, appears rather dumbfounded.

Well, no doubt which way the US is going then. Fuck freedom of speech. Fuck the reporters. Fuck journalism. It's all about the Empire.

At least they've not called for the death penalty yet for him, as they did Assange. There's a full list of people who wanted him dead here.
