Martin Shkreli drug price hike baron arrested - karma strikes in delicious news :)

Shit! They're onto me!

You know when karma strikes and when you read about it, it's like eating chocolate? Well this is like eating a chocolate sundae.

Yes folks, Martin Shkreli has been arrested for fraud. During the arrest the smirk well and truly gone from his face and the hoodie wearing criminal emerged.

Turns out the previous health fund he was in charge of, he siphoned money out of to prop up another fund of his that was losing money. The health fund sacked him over concerns about his behaviour, and has since co-operated fully with the feds in their investigation of Shkreli.

I'm sure his present health company is now very much reconsidering their decision to hire him. One must wonder why he suddenly needs to increase the price of an important drug by 5,000%?

It looks to me that Shkreli is nothing more than a crook.
Pharmaceutical boss Martin Shkreli, who sparked outrage after hiking up the price of an established medicine, has been arrested on separate fraud charges.

He is accused of fraud relating to a drug company he previously headed, Retrophin, and a hedge fund, MSNB Capital Management, where he was a fund manager.

He is currently chief executive of Turing Pharmaceuticals.

Mr Shkreli was arrested by the FBI.

He was arrested in Manhattan, New York, accused of illegally using Retrophin assets to pay off debts after MSMB lost millions of dollars, reports Reuters news agency.

In September he was lambasted after hiking up the price of popular medicine Daraprim by 5,000% - from $13.50 to $750 - prompting unfavourable reaction on social media.

The drug treats toxoplasmosis, a parasitic affliction that affects people with compromised immune systems, and is used by Aids patients. ninemsn
Ahhhh, the good old days.....
