Australian corruption level grows - Transparency International


Wouldn't have anything with Abbott being in power for two years would it?

Transparency International has released it's latest world measure of corruption, with Australia specifically mentioned (together with Brazil, Libya, Spain and Turkey) as having a corruption score that has "deteriorated".
2015 showed that people working together can succeed in fighting corruption. Although corruption is still rife globally, more countries improved their scores in 2015 than declined.

Some countries have improved in recent years – Greece, Senegal and the UK are among those that have seen a significant increase in scores since 2012.

 In Australia's case, the below score shows we've gone from a cleaner score of 85 down to a dirtier score of 79 since 2012:
