The ABC gives a report on the first Tesla power-walls to be installed in Australia. The conflict between the established grid and the independence of the power-wall becomes apparent at the outset.
Of course this is very new technology, and in the long term as production lifts and research continues the prices will plummet for installation of this independence.
It's very worrying though that renters and pensioners who can't afford to do this will be left holding the can for the grid. Gov needs to step in here to assist the take up of this new green energy to all parts of the community.
Oh yeah, the Lieberals are in power........
