Some more pics of the Ridge

Here's some pictures that I've not posted from Lightning Ridge. Also I'll put the best of this trip onto a separate page otherwise they'll all just get buried. I didn't get a chance out there to do corrections on them as I had the little screen on the PC running quite dim in power saving mode. Have gone through them all today though and it's amazing the difference just a few auto correct clicks can do. Here's an example, this is the before and after picture of the lake.

Here's some pictures from Simon's cactus  garden. They're not going so well after such a lot of rain up there this year. The Aloe Vera plant is only small compared to what grows there, saw massive great big ones just off his property. It's very good for healing cuts and things, to rub on your skin.

This is over the back fence, and the little airport out there. No big planes, only private little ones and the Flying Doctor service.

Here's another one of Simon's opal jewellery making. Still need a bit of practice with the macro lens thing on the camera I reckon.
