Got an email from Greenpeace Australia. Have been hearing bits and pieces about QLD wanting to go ahead with a massive expansion of coal exports up there, but I didn't know it was this bloody bad.
The Great Barrier Reef is already struggling with pollution, didn't know about the extent they'd have to dredge it just to get the coal ships through.Things aren't looking too good either with the new fascist Campbell Newman as Premier, able to pretty much dictate what he wants to do no matter what.
They got an online petition going available for anyone in the world to sign.
Save the reef!
