Tragically, a NSW police officer has lost his life in the line of duty, being fatally stabbed whilst attending some sort of domestic dispute. An Inspector Anderson. It is of course fitting that the police force express their grief and sadness through the media at the loss of one of their officers, and by all accounts of a person who cared about his family and friends. Being an older cop he was probably one of the good ones, which makes it even worse.
Is it just me? Where was this outpouring of grief when they killed Curti? Much loved young man, dead at the hands of the police. Even during the inquest into his death, with all the officers involved giving their accounts of that night at the inquest, there was only one officer out of them all that even offered condolences to the family. It's a stark contrast.
