I've dumped Firefox

It's been a bit like the boiling frog thing. Firefox was getting slower and slower, and yesterday some kind of invasive adware attached itself to it and I was spending half the time closing bloody pop up things. Ran a full system scan and still nothing was fixed. I hate that monolithic Internet Explorer, so sort of tried this Chrome one for now.

Was using that a while back but it fucked up. Something went wrong in it and all the links on the blog were getting hijacked and redirecting to strange and bizarre sites I'd never heard or seen before. I thought there was something really majorly wrong, but as soon as I tried another browser everything was fine. Have no idea what the problem was but I wasn't impressed with Chrome back then at all. Will see how it goes this time.

It's a stupid way to advertise with all those popout things. They're just really annoying and make you not want to buy anything advertised in them. Years ago my PC got invaded by these bloody casino adds, slowed down the whole computer so much it spent ages just being frozen. I don't even gamble.

On that occasion they were good enough to include three email addresses in the add, so whenever I got a casino popout I'd send of an email of protest to all three addresses. It took a few days but I ended up being contacted by the people responsible for these stupid adds. It included to the bosses office and all the emails I was sending. They ended up doing something from their end to fix my PC I think from memory.
