Yes folks, this was our prime minister for two long years of darkness. As Australian show Play School turns 50, the ABC looks back at some of it's history.
Interestingly there was the lesbian thing in 2004. Being a very progressive show it aired a same sex family with two mothers. Included is footage of Abbott "shocked".
You see he didn't want his kids to see it. "Think of the children!" and all that.
BTW I grew up with Play School in New Zealand. On the one black and white TV station, TVNZ aired the Australian Play School. Along with Skippy I might add :)
