Labor takes lead in combined polling - Bludgertrack

The momentum over the past couple of months has continued, with the Abbott/Turnbull gov now being overtaken by Labor on Bludgertrack. This after Turnbull's stratospheric approval from voters of not being Tony Abbott, only to find that he has no balls and is doing Abbott's biding anyway.

I'd have to say this is the most perfect dead cat bounce in political polling I've ever seen. Wondrous to behold folks.

Will Turnbull's fortunes improve after the budget? We'll see, but in my opinion the early signs aren't looking at all good for the Lieberals.

Labor also faces an uphill battle still, as the overall polling doesn't reflect what's going on in individual seats. Apparently the swing to Labor isn't happening uniformly and where it counts, according to Michelle Grattan the other day.
