"$10m hospital funding lost when Liberal seat lost 2013" - Sophie Mirabella candidate for seat

Honestly, does it get any worse than this for the Lieberals? As I've said, the Turnbull gov is dying by 1,000 cuts. I'd say this one is a long gash wound.

So........, Lieberal Sophie Mirabella was incensed when she lost her seat in the 2013 election, being the person of entitlement that she obviously is. What an outrage! In Abbott's 2013 moment of election glory, she lost.

Now in 2016 she is re-contesting the seat trying to take it back to the rightfully entitled Lieberals. This arrogance has sprayed all over the place in a heated local debate, with her entitlement mentality exposed in all it's ignominy.

She has declared in the meeting that $10million of funding to hospitals in the local area was lost due to her not being elected.

Why? because apparently nobody else was capable of giving it:
Mirabella’s defeat was one of the biggest upsets of the last election, and she is challenging McGowan in this year’s poll.

During a lively Sky News debate from a Wangaratta pub on Thursday night, Mirabella answered a question from Northeast Health Wangaratta board chair Brendan Schutt, who asked candidates what they would do to secure health funding for the area.

“I had a commitment for a $10m allocation to the Wangaratta hospital that if elected I was going to announce a week after the election,” Mirabella said. “That is $10m that Wangaratta hasn’t had because Cathy got elected.”

Greens candidate Jenny O’Connor challenged Mirabella, saying, “this is what is wrong with politics” if funds could be withdrawn when voters didn’t support a particular candidate. But Mirabella said it was “about who has the ability and the knowledge and the contacts to go the top of the list [for hospital funding]. Cathy wasn’t able to do it. I will be.” The Guardian
Un-fuckin believable. The complete arrogance, the utter pork barreling by the Abbott Turnbull gov. That the funds weren't released simply because of the incoming gov not getting it's own candidate in. Putrid politics. Making headline news in the main stream media to boot.

What about the needs of the people? What about the sick and old? "Sorry we can't do this or that for you because a Lieberal didn't get elected to this seat"

Mind boggling. Again, could this get any worse for the Lieberals?
