Penny Wong tells of the hurtful nature of a plebscite on gay marriage

Penny Wong of Labor tells how hurtful it's already been to the LGBT in Australia with the public debate so far about marriage equality. Some of the accusations leveled at us by the religious have been shameful, including accusations of bestiality, paedophilia, and in the Safe Schools gay recruitment. 

Some of the hate has come from the Canberra parliament itself, with Lieberals such as Bernadi and Christensen, along with Abbott and Morrison speaking at extremist christian gatherings both here and abroad.

 Imagine what a gov funded plebiscite would involve then. All this for secular marriage which has nothing to do with religion FFS.
