Trump said what Cruz thinks about abortion - Rachel Maddow calls out the media

I've never been much into the abortion debate here in Australia, as abortion has been accepted by the great majority here for zonks. It may be surprising though that it's still technically illegal in NSW and Queensland, although physical and mental health concerns mean it's not a criminal offence to do it. I didn't know that until recently. But talking to the average person people simply assume it's legal because it's so accepted.

Anyway, so it's very interesting watching this clip from Rachel Maddow, about the current abortion climate in the US. She points out the media hypocrisy in it all, saying that Trump simply blurts out what Cruz won't, but Cruz actually believes in abortion more than he does in that it's wrong under any circumstance.

What was most interesting for me however was the logical conclusion of that. A conclusion that many pro-lifers would be possibly shocked at. I don't think those that jump on the pro-life bandwagon as it passes through on occasion have really thought out the consequences of their body's becoming gov property for 9 months.....
